TYPE I-1: (Australian plug) Oblique flat blades (inverted V-shape) with ground
This plug adapter changes the shape of an appliance's plug so that can plug into a "Type I " Australian AS 3112, Chinese CPCS-CCC or Argentine IRAM socket. The receptacle end of the adapter can accept any standard household plug type from any country, except the "Type M" South African SABS1661 (Old British BS-546 "Large") plug. The plug end is a "Type I " Australian AS 3112 plug. The adapter's blade contacts are 6.5 × 1.6mm, and the phase and neutral blades are angled 30° to vertical at a nominal pitch of 13.7mm. The plug is polarized and grounded.
The Type I Electrical Plug has two flat, oblique blades that form an inverted V, and a grounding blade.
The Type I electrical socket is used in Australia and New Zealand, and usually has a switch for extra safety. There is an unearthed version of the Type I plug, but the sockets are always three-pinned. There are several AS/NZS plug variants , including a 15 A, 20 A, 25 A and 32 A.
Compatibility:
This travel plug adapter is compatible with "Type I " Australian AS 3112, Chinese CPCS-CCC and Argentine IRAM sockets. Although the three standards are technically different, they are practically interchangeable, and are all grouped together under the general, unofficial "Type I" classification.
How it's used:
Attach a plug adapter to the power cord of any electrical appliance which is already compatible with the voltage being supplied by the socket. The adapter changes the shape and configuration of the electrical contacts, allowing you to plug into a different kind of socket.
Or, if you prefer to think of it this way, plug the adapter into an electrical socket to enable the socket to accept almost any worldwide household plug (as long as the appliance is already compatible with the voltage being supplied by the socket.) Adapters aren't built for permanent installation though, and it's not a good idea to leave the adapter plugged into the socket indefinitely. They can remain plugged in for long periods of time, but they're not intended to be permanently installed.
Caution:
- It does not perform voltage step-up or step-down conversion between 125V and 250V;
- When use, please check and ensure your electronics apparatus can work with the local voltage;
- You may use this product when the indicator of the common charger shows it adapts 100V-240V;
- For your children safety, please keep this product properly when it is not in use.
